Curiosity
The ability to create curiosity or direct curiosity is one of the greatest super powers you will develop as a copywriter. Once you understand this you will be able to take someone's attention and desire and instead of just directing it you will be able to captivate it, you will be able to bring them in and make them ravenously curious about continuing to consume the content that you're going to provide in front of them to learn the lessons you're going to teach them to take the actions you want them to take.
Why cusriosity is useful in copywriting
Curiosity is the urge to close an information gap around something that you really care about. Curiosity is , you know a little bit about something you really care about, you know there's more and you want to close that information gap. You want to find the answers to the questions that you now have inside of your mind. Being able to add curiosity on top of desire , you are already triggering a massive superpower and you can work it into almost anything and you will work it into almost everything as a copywriter It's the same reason why people binge watch box series or TV episodes because at the end of every episode there's a curiosity factor, there's some unanswered questions that happen. There's an information gap that's created in your mind about something you really care about and you want to watch the next episode to get the answers to those unanswered questions.
Enhance their Curisoity
Things that enhance curiosity are specificity = it needs to feel real in their mind. The more specific the detail you can share without giving away the answer the better.
Not Statements
Not statements = the reader is going to have to guess as to what the answer is and if you tell him it's NOT THAT THING.. subsequently they're mind will go into overdrive trying to figure out what the answer is.
Use Curiosity every step of the way
Make sure you practice this very carefully, make sure you weave this into everything that you do when it comes to creating copywriting content. You want to create unanswered questions in their brain an information gap around something they really care about. Have them take action and reward them by giving them more information, either by closing that gap entirely or closing that gap a little bit more and then create new unanswered questions to get them to take the next step and the next step and the next and so on.
Its always important to do thorough research before you begin any copywriting
